Welcome to IPC-IGs Social Protection Expert Roster!

We have created an online pool of consultants and technical experts in different areas of Social Protection to identify potential partners for future collaboration with a specific focus on Experts from the South.

This initiative aims at facilitating the communication with specific experts who are willing to be considered for long and short term assignments within the field of Social Protection. The Roster is characterized by being a selective pool of experts and institutions to facilitate knowledge- sharing in the sectors.

Social Protection is considered as policies designed to reduce people's exposure to risks, enhancing their capacity to protect themselves against hazards and loss of income. Social protection policies include social insurance and social assistance.( http://www.undp.org/poverty)
