Tatiana Martinez Zavala

Tatiana is a Mexican national and an external consultant for the IPC-IG currently based in Guinea-Bissau, where she works as an ODI fellow in the Ministry of Economy and Finance. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Lyon and a Master’s degree in Economics—Public Policy and Development from the Toulouse School of Economics.

Tatiana worked on the impact evaluation of the ‘Social Behaviour Change Communication’ project and market access and food fortification projects within the World Food Programme’s MDG1c initiative in Mozambique to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger. She also worked as a consultant for Coffey International Development, mainly involved in the subgroup outcome analysis of several projects from DFID’s Girls Education Challenge, and has previous experience in the private sector.

Tatiana é cidadã Mexicana e uma consultora independente para o IPC-IG e atualmente mora em in Guiné-Bissau, onde trabalha como colega da ODI no Ministério de Economia e Finanças. Possui Doutorado em Economia pela Universidade e Mestrado em Economia, com especialização em Políticas Públicas e Desenvolvimento da Tolouse School of Economics.

Tatiana trabalhou na avaliação de impacto do projeto SBCC e no acesso a mercados e projetos de fortificação de alimentos no âmbito da iniciativa ODM1c do PMA em Moçambique, para erradicar a pobreza extrema e a fome.
