In late 2020, the IPC-IG partnered with UNICEF Libya and UNDP Libya to support the NEDB in the development of a roadmap to inform the preparation of Libya’s first Social Protection Policy. For this, the IPC-IG conducted an in-depth literature review of the country’s social protection sector and developed in-depth questionnaires to gather further information from relevant entities. Moreover, the team conducted a series of key informant interviews to inform the Roadmap document, which was validated in a workshop with all relevant stakeholders in October 2021.
